after i stared blankly at some commando/war movie going on the telly for 5 mins in silence
(looking very wise..)
with english subtitles..
and then asked " OH! they are not speaking in english?"

I must add this happened after 4 drinks...
and with aforementioned friend walking with me through the city.. or rather.. a metre away from me because he was laughing too hard
at my attempt to walk in a straight line and protests that i am perfectly sober.

and in his (very wise) ways, says
