You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn't.
You take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anything for granted.

I don't know what I want.
In the turmoil around
Making it through this year
No one said it was easy.
So many things.. and decisions
Not going to be entirely my choices.
So many things change
Sometimes I just need to get back to basics
When the music stops playing.
To hear a comforting voice from back home
Of family and friends
To know that i'll make it through
Where are You, God?
In the silence, I need to find me.. once more.
