A few Joy and friends jokes today.. during *serious* cooking conversation

Friend: How to get chicken powder? (ie. chicken stock)
Joy: Just shake the chicken and u get powder ! *imagery of chicken being flapped around with feathers*

Joy: So how to dry the steamed rice?
Friend: Put it in a dryer!

i had the funnest time going deep sea fishing today!
blessed with absolutely gorgeous weather, blue skies.. and THIRTY fishes and an octupus caught among 7 of us! It was a great day!

Complete with thrown-in drama of my car going flat (AGAIN!) in the middle of Morington, it was all hilarious and all good in the end. (Thanks to KJ and all the strong men! And the trusty jump start cables- such a Godsend!! and gd foresight on Jan's part.. cos she's reckoned i runned my car flat so many times, she actually got me cables..HAHA)

Wonderful dinner cooking all the fish and hanging out with the pals.. Will post all the pics up this wkend!
In the mean time.. its time for bed and the drive back to Gippsland tom morn *groans*

its strange, the passing of time..
and the seemingly potent mix of procrastination and non-inspiration that results in..
nothing.

i LOVE my extended hols..
my lalala jobs..
and my freedom.
And most importantly, being happy.
Cos, i can't believe i still feel as carefree as when i was studying.. or even more now.
Going day tripping.. and comedy fest with the goody friends... and catchingup for dinner with other friends and more dinner.. and easter and chocolate eggs and hot cross buns!
oh i LOVE THE EASTER WEEEEKEND!!!
HOw amazing when u start to count your bleesssinggs!

Oh.. the number of nut jokes i get now.. NOT FUNNY. (and so haha-corny)
classic examples include
" Are u are nut?"
" You working at the asylum?"
*faints*

well.. it's ok.. nice guys.. (i'm the only girl there..)
and alright everything.
my boss is pretty funny.
He's greek.
So everything is all greek to me. when he starts speaking to greek customers. Ha.
And he played a joke on us yesterday going
" RIGHT BOYS AND GIRLS! u don't have to come in to work next week! i'm getting a whole new crew!"
and we were all sort of "huh.. oh.."
*thinking what in the world he was talking abt*
and then he goes " HAHA! happy april fools!

but he's not letting me off for the WHOLE easter weekend *sulks*
