and then.. i kenna conned today.

the urology registar came up to me.. cos, they dunno what to do with the pt anymore. (and they want the bed.. duh..)
and as we were discussing the pt, he very casually offered me his orange
(it was 4 pm.. and i was getting hungry, i said ok)
and cos i COULDN'T do anything for the patient because it was a totally medical prob (presenting as a pseudo-physio prob)
and i dun wanna see the pt anyway cos.. its FOUR
i explained why the pt wasn't urgent and said " i'll see your pt tom.. he's in X ray anyway"

and he went " EhhhhHHH.... i give u orange.. u see my pt when he's back at 4.15 ok???
WHAT THE
so kenna bribed-ed.
and i only ate like.. a quarter of his orange.
dang.
shld have taken the whole thing.

to dance again.
i reckon it was the hospital ball..
urghs.
itchy itchy itchy.

was sitting down and trying to figure out the patient's diagosis with the doctor.
both of us disagreeing at first
(cos da anatomy has gotten really rusty)
and then realising we were both right
because it was a combination of both!
oh yeah.

think i strained my foot ligament doing the swing/jive/whatever in heels at the ball last night.
its tender.
but the dancing was way fun:)
and got free tixs to dance classes! yay!

and nothing like a stack of light,fluffy buttermilk pancakes with whipped butter and maple syrup, poached eggs and bacon on a sat morn.
(i LOVE going out for breakies on saturdays.. SO relaxing)
and freshly fried you tiaos and bubble tea in the arvo.
YUMS.

2nd day of spring...
and 25 degrees!!!
oh yay.

and i got my leave approved for dec/jan
thank God.. cos.. NONE of my collleagues have got their leave approved..
and i'm like. lowest of the low in the dept
(i think i'm going into the negative now.. haha)
i'll be home for 3 weeks!
looking fwd again.

its that time of the yr again..
when birthdays are galore galore!
(which means... alot of cake.. and v broke)

so.. happy birthday to dearie wanyi and da sis!
went to the consevertory at crown for the lunch buffet for the sis today..
which was really gd considering the neverending food and price..
seeing people PILE like.. 10 prawns on their plates... (who said only singaporeans were "yao guis") ha ha. its a NON cULTURAL thing when it comes to prawns i tell u... (unless u aint facy the little critters)

And everyone in the place was O-L-D. ( all the retired pple enjoying life...)
as in.. GREY/dyed hair... and then i went" hey.. no young students here!"
and then.. i realised.. i wasn't a student either... ...

and we were doing the most stupid hilarious things...
taking stupid shots... of.. random things.. and then i looked up.. to find the next table full on staring at me.
opps.
and jan was laughing till she was crying.... and.. i choked on my mocha.. and jeremy had the nasty toothache, which he was trying to subside with lime sorbet...
and jan's theroy that desert shld be eaten early... which nearly made the waiter take away all my main cutlery when i hadn't touched the main courses.
and we spent nearly 3 hrs at lunch.

and then jan and i went sth melbourne a-trippin...
and i went back to my 'ol nut shop to buy stuff.. and got called back to work.
and being me..i said ok.
don't know whether to laugh or cry now.
but it was a nice, good walk.. in the lovely warm spring sunshine...
and a gd relaxing sat...
