is nearly upon us again
and this year its so different
being in melb
and not by choice.
a part of me is happy and comfortable with life
a part of me is
so so sad for not being able to be home..
to nua
do nothing
just be in the atmosphere of home
where you can NOt go out with friends.. abeit be bored.. but just
know its homeAnd yet.. i thank God for every person hes brought into my life at this stagethat there is always someone
there for meAmazing loveamazing graceAnd my heart goes out.. to all in this christmas season.. who lack family.. or have no one to spend this time with
There is truly nothing in this world.. that epitomises chirstmas.. more for me.. than the love of God AND the accompany of family and friends.
i'm so sian now i feel like deleting everything i just wrote.....................................

is getting absolutely confusing.
getting stuck in the middle.
i had no idea how in demand a physio is..
all these people willing to pay privately
and i have no idea if its right to accept
ha.
i think i am still so getting ripped off since i'm so new.
and though i think its alot..
everybody goes..
"what! you are a professional! demaaand more!!!"
but. but.
i'm happy....
at the moment.

gonna do some part time physio work soon. (while looking for a proper hospital job)
=)
work= money
which is always good.
was talking to the woman at the agency today who was mentioning putting me on for some extra work at this nursing home in toorak.
YES . TOORAK (ala orchard rd/bukit timah area in sg)
she was like..
so have u heard of " XX (fill in name of nuring home here)?"
and i'm like.. "er... nooo.."
and she gave me this half incredulous look
and went
"its apparently..
the best"
so..
ok lah..
went home and googled.
and my jaw dropped when i saw the website
all the nursing homes in its group look like mansions.
(and some of them ARE. whatever edwardian style.. and queen anne style..)
and this one in toorak actually IS ---> its a converted century- old mansion.
wah lau.
more updates if i actually get that job. :)

i'm sorry i haven't written much
life's been busy
1) waterfront at port melbs is good. great food, ambience and a throughly enjoyable time with the family strolling down frm south melb to port melb.. abosolutely gorgeous melb sunny sunday.. laughing at dogs along the way.. my parents happily patting some schanauzer (or how ever u spell it) and talking about pickled fleas. oh. my fam is weird.
2) i've graduated. (finally)
weather was surprisingly good.. and it all passed too quickly. got the photos with everyone.. and *smugly* had the best coloured gown among all the morning graduates.
congrats once again.. to all u fellow physios (h-o-n-s).. as lauren would put it. :)
all the best things, that life has to offer.. i wish you till we meet again.
3) relationships are a landmine. utterly confusing and i
give up4) My parents' take on conversations of youth
and thus refusing to go yum cha with my friends
the " go off and enjoy yourself please...."..
cos (as my dad puts it) " all you guys talk about is A going out with B.. C and D are not together... E went off to Hong Kong, X went back to KL.. M, N and O are in some triangle.. and now D is sad and you have to console her"
totally hilarious.
5) stepped into a ktv place for the 1st time ever in 5 years in melb
6)cuckoos at dandenongs is a marvellous place for afternoon high tea. its not the food per say.. but the ambeience.. friendly people.. settings in the middle of the forest... great music.. and an extremely friendly and warm russian musician just made the day for my whole family. He is impressive. He plays 11 instruments!(plays double bass for the melb orchestra too..) he was playing the accordian for us when he came round.. then after we were chatting away..starting talking about russia.. and brought us round the whole place... forced me and jan to play the piano.. in the middle of the resturant... (it was empty.. cos we were the last to leave high tea) and introduced us to the owners.
How much better can that get??
Ok lah.. enuff..
i have to entertain my parents now...
haha

went to wilson's prom over the weekend.
camping and hiking
how cool is that?
for those not frm melb, its a national park
absolutely GORGEOUS scenery..
soft sandy- sink-in-the-white-sand beaches
crystal clear light blue waters
and the best part?
no one around.the bad part:
no proper toilet facilities in some areas.. with toilets ala china style-- a toilet with no flush and u do it into a big pit below. horribly stinky, because some people don't just pee, if u know what i mean
.
i guess you just realise how much you get to know what people are truly like on trips.
i thought it wouldn't be that obvious being a 2D/1N trip.
but oh well.
*grins*
let just say it was an
interesting trip

haha.. i made the driver detour for
this signsome pics here.. so beautiful eh?
frm my camera.
for more.. look
HERE
those aren't from my camera.. cos i'm too lazy to upload all, but enjoy!

now now... why did the emu cross the road?
4:37 PM

graduation day.
